Training Packages in the Property Services Industry

There are three endorsed Training Packages in the Property Services industry.

• Asset Maintenance covers those areas that provide services relating to the physical maintenance of property assets. There are currently six industry sectors in this Training Package. They are:
• Carpet Cleaning
• Cleaning Operations
• Fire Protection Equipment
• Fire Safety Systems Inspection
• Pest Management
• Waste Management.

• Asset Security covers the Security and Investigative Services industry, which deals with the security and protection of persons and property assets. There are currently four industry sectors in this Training Package. They are:
• Investigative Services
• Security Management
• Security Operations
• Technical Security.

• Property Management and Development covers all service areas dealing directly with the sale and management of property assets, and spatial information. There are currently four industry sectors in this Training Package. They are:
• Business Broking
• Real Estate
• Spatial Information Services
• Stock and Station Agency.

Property Services Training Australia is well advanced with the development of competency standards and qualifications in other industry sectors that will be added to this Training Package. These sectors are:

• Facilities Management
• Property Operations and Development.
