Aim |
The aim of this course is to adapt vertical rescue skills to natural environments. |
Description |
This course is designed for persons already qualified in vertical rescue. Practical scenarios are specifically tailored to practice the techniques specific to natural environments with the use of natural and temporary anchors. |
Duration |
The course can be conducted over a nominated time of 1 day.

There is not a nationally recognised Unit of Competency awarded for this course. |
Accreditation |
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Risk Response + Rescue Certificate of Participation. |

Participants have to be vertical rescue qualified. |
Assessment |
Participants are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of competency. Participants must be able to anticipate issues, implement relevant procedures, and conduct a variety of rescues. |
