The aim of this program is to give participants a basic knowledge of safe work at heights and fall prevention. |
Description |
The Safe Work at heights and Fall Prevention program is designed for persons whose daily work exposes them to areas where there is a potential for falls from height, while not necessarily required to work at height. The program provides participants with an awareness of the OH&S and legislative requirements and procedures to ensure the health and safety of any persons required to work at heights. This program is designed to provide a basic awareness and does not qualify participants to enter work at height. |

Accreditation |
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Risk Response & Rescue Certificate of Participation. |

Pre-Requisites |
There are no specific pre-requisites to this course however participants should ensure they are able to collect information, work as a small team and comprehend basic written documentation. |
Assessment |
Participants must be able to identify work at heights, identify hazards and risks and express a basic knowledge of the requirements for height safety work procedures. |
