First Aid
Aim | The aim of this course is to provide these life skills, in accordance with industry guidelines, such that participants are confident to provide First Aid when the need arises. |
Description | This program provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. |
Duration | 16 hours (2 days or split into a self-paced module and an 8 hour instructor led module). |
Unit/s of Competence | |
Accreditation | Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and a Risk Response & Rescue Certificate of Completion. |
