Aim 

The aim of this course is to increase awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the emergency control organisation (ECO) and building occupants in an emergency

Description 

This course is intended for all employees in the workplace and is aimed at the minimum induction level of knowledge and skills required to be implemented in an emergency for the safety of ones self and others.

Accreditation 

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Risk Response & Rescue Certificate stating the information covered, duration of training, date of issue, location of training and general remarks.
Certificates will display the Fire Protection Association logo.

  • Identification of ECO personnel
  • Fire safety and protection systems
  • Communication and warden intercom phones (WIP)m
  • Raising the alarm
  • Actions in emergencies
  • Alarms
  • Evacuation strategies and exit paths
  • After hours procedures
  • Management of mobility impaired persons
