Risk, Response and Rescue (RR+R) respects your privacy. Our privacy principles embody the national privacy principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

 

If you participate on our courses or we consult you in the course of our business, it may be necessary for us to collect personal information such as your contact details, your current employment details, your expertise and career interests. At times, and where relevant, your family details. If we collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) it will be for the sole purposes of providing our services to you and we will seek your consent to collect it.

 

We will only collect personal information from this website when it is voluntarily provided by you - for example, when you fill in a form to contact us, register to attend a training session, or to purchase products.

 

If you fill in a form on this web site, we will maintain your contact details for the purpose of contacting you in relation to your enquiry and for any future marketing and contact purposes that may arise.

 

When you visit this website or download information from it, statistical records are kept of your visit such as your internet address (IP Address), the pages you visit, the documents you download, your entry point and exit point within our site, the referral site or search engine that linked you to our site, and the type of browser you are using. However, this information is anonymous and is only used for statistical and website development purposes.

 

We use your information to provide our services to you. We may share your information with other members of the Risk, Response + Rescue Group where they require that information to service you.

 

Risk, Response + Rescue is bound by professional obligations of confidentiality. We will continue to treat and protect information we receive (including any personal information) in accordance with these obligations. If you think that any information we hold about you is inaccurate please contact us and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.

 

RR+R respects the Guidelines suggested by the Australian Direct Marketing Association in it's Code of Practice for Consumer Protection in e-commerce.

 

We also abide by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Platform for Privacy Preferences Project (P3P). This policy is emerging as an industry standard providing a simple, automated way for users to gain more control over the use of personal information on web sites they visit.

 

In line with those guidelines, RR+R would like you to be aware of the information we collect to provide your service. We do not provide third parties with access to your personal data, with the obvious exception of third party business partners such as the Domain Name Registries.

 

Information collected by Risk Response + Rescue

Your contact information, including named individuals for administration, technical and billing issues. This information may include telephone, fax numbers and email addresses

Information about what services you have ordered from us of we have provided to you:

  • Information about what services you have enquired
  • Your interest in receiving RR+R email newsletters
  • Correspondence between you and RR+R
  • A contact management system in which details of conversations might be written by employees
  • Encrypted credit card details
  • Your interaction with our websites

What Risk Response + Resuce does with your information

  • We do not pass on your personal information to third parties, with the obvious exception of third party business partners such as the domain name registries.
  • We do provide aggregate data to third parties (e.g. "we have 1,000 clients who are SME's")
  • We will contact relevant people to communicate billing and technical issues
  • We store website data and email queued on our servers, only for use as back-up data should it be required
  • We may customise our email newsletters and communications to reflect your interest in a particular service
  • We access historic correspondence and details about earlier conversions in response to customer service issues and, to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Risk Response + Rescue
  • We store encrypted credit card details to allow us to process the subscriptions to our services
  • We monitor and store your online requests for webpages and services for research and to keep a history of your transactions with the business (this might include recording the fact you set up and deleted an email account, or took a trial in one of our services, etc)

Email communications

As a customer of RR+R you will receive occasional email communications from us that relate to the services we provide to you, and you will have the option to opt-out of all non-essential email and postal mail.
