Philippe has extensive experience in rescue and casualty management in fields of emergency services, alpine, remote wilderness and community rescue, specialising in helicopter operations. Working extensively in the Mont-Blanc Range, Phillipe has provided specialist rescue support in cliffs, crevasse, canyons, avalanche, ski lifts and gondolas in the French Alps. He has vast experience applying ‘minimalist roping techniques’ in time critical situations, under extremely adverse and life threatening circumstances.

• Certirficate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
• Involved in the training and instruction of mountaineering rescue teams.
