Dave Jordan was a member of the Australian Customs Service, initially working in Enforcement Operations in the Airport and Container Examination environment, he transferred to the ACS National Enforcement Training Centre where he was responsible for development and delivery of training in a variety of technical disciplines across the country. The role also involved liaising with numerous other government agencies in both a training and operational capability.

During this time he was also involved in numerous high profile operations where large amounts of narcotics and prohibited goods where seized. Dave was also an armed boarding team member in the Maritime Patrol and Response Unit.

Previously, he has also been a company director in a dive business which grew from a small partnership to 3 stores which employed up to 10 full time staff.

Dave holds certificates in Government, Workplace Assessment & Training, Maritime Operations as well as Public Safety.

He is currently employed as an operational firefighter.
