requirements.

The VETAB logo will only be used in accordance with the conditions governing its use and only in relation to training within our scope of registration:

We will advertise the availability of AQF Qualifications and accredited courses only if they are included on our scope of registration.

Marketing Policy

All course advertising and promotion will accurately reflect the course content and level. There will be no intentional vague, misleading or ambiguous statements made about courses, trainers, other providers, the organisation or any other matter that falsely enhances Risk, Response and Rescue programs or services.

VET Courses / VETAB guidelines

These guidelines apply to promotional and marketing items in press, radio and television, on Internet or any other media and for items such as information brochures, stationery and recruiting agent's materials.

  • Advertising of training providers and courses must not be misleading, vague or ambiguous.
  • RR+R will only market AQF qualifications and Statement of Attainment within our scope of registration.
  • 'VETAB accredited" will not be used when advertising unaccredited courses.
  • Where individual modules are being advertised, the parent course will be clearly identified.

Only modules separately accredited as "Training Programs" and "Courses in" will be advertised as courses in their own right.

  • Advertisements will list the accrediting body for each course not accredited by VETAB.
  • RR+R will not claim it is about to be approved or that courses are shortly to be accredited.
  • RR+R will not falsely claim or imply that they are registered, approved or endorsed to conduct accredited courses or courses for overseas participants.
  • RR+R will not claim they are registered, approved or endorsed in any way unless the advertisement specifies the name of the endorsing body.
  • RR+R will quote provider and course names exactly as they are on the Registration or Accreditation Certificate.
  • Advertisements will not contain references to competing providers or the courses they conduct.
  • If RR+R becomes registered in other states and runs courses in NSW it may only use the endorsement of the original registering body and/or the ANTA nationally recognised logo.
  • RR+R will not use a VETAB logo or terms like "VETAB Accredited" on letterheads.

RR+R will follow the full advertising provisions of the Legislation found in Section 22J of the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Act 1990.
