14. Evaluation / Client Feedback
14.1 Procedure
14.1.1 Participants
Evaluation forms will be distributed to all participants at the conclusion of every course.
As a minimum the Lead Trainer for the course and a member of the Administration team will review the feedback. The Managing Director will scrutinise the feedback randomly or as advised.
Both constructive and adverse comments will be reviewed and disseminated to relevant parties for action as part of RR+R's continuous improvement process.
Where necessary feedback will be followed up and the responsible person commended, consulted, or counselled.
Outcomes or actions arising from the feedback are to be documented and logged. Where appropriate feedback will be tabled at planning meetings or actioned in the business plan.
Summary sheets are prepared and reviewed as part of RR+Rs continuous improvement process.
14.1.2 Clients
Participant summary sheets are sent to clients as part of a detailed course report prepared subsequent to course completion for closed courses. Public courses summary sheets can be communicated by telephone or structured interview or a report.
Matters addressed include:
- Appropriateness and relevance of Training
- Degree of expectations met
- Evidence of transfer of learning
- Value for money
- Assessment observations
14.1.3 Internal clients – the trainers and assessors
Trainers and assessors will contribute to evaluation of courses and assess by:
- Participating in validation meetings as requested
- Post course assessment discussed with the Managing Director
Evaluation should include:
- Currency
- Relevance
- Pace
- Resources and venues
- Adequacy of Training Packages
- Identified need for Professional Development
- Consistency of assessment tasks/instruments
- OH&S issues
- Access and Equity issues
- Relationship of training to AQF
