Breaches of the Code

Child Protection
Some of the company’s activities are designed to include minors, children and young adults entering the workplace. From time to time they also visit our premises. We endeavour to ensure that no child or young person undertaking one of our courses or on Company property is at risk of harm and will not employ staff or trainers who have a criminal conviction for a crime against a minor, violence or sexual assault. To ensure this, all of our staff are required to complete a working with children declaration at the commencement of employment.

We respect participants' and employees' rights to privacy and will maintain the confidentiality, integrity and security of all personal records and information entrusted to us in the course of our work. We will not communicate details to others without the written permission of the person concerned, unless it would normally be available to the public, or is required by law to be released.

Personnel
We will be a fair, equitable and supportive employer, meeting all our financial and other obligations to our employees promptly and efficiently and encouraging them to undertake further professional development. COURSES
Appeals and Grievances
If a participant is assessed and is deemed as being not yet competent in any accredited course they may appeal against the assessment. A participant wishing to appeal against an assessment should first advise the trainer who will inform the participant of the procedure to be followed.
Participants, members of staff or trainers who may have a complaint of another kind against the Company, its employees or its contractors should discuss the matter with the Administration and Training Manager or the Managing Director, who will endeavour to resolve the issue directly or advise the complainant of the procedure to be followed to address it.
Outcomes and reasons for decision will be advised in writing.
